I'm in a very foul mood today. You see, I am PMS'ing. And I'm tapering, meaning I am not getting in my endorphin-producing workouts. And it also means that tomorrow I will be bringing an unwelcome visitor along to my race. Blah.
It's especially bad when my monthly cycle coincides with a reduced training volume. I noticed this back in the spring. For about three months in a row, my PMS was in synch with my recovery weeks. Less workouts + PMS = Carol in a very bad mood. Which is where I am today. WAH!
