I get to ride my bike tomorrow – yippeee!

I am doing an off-season training plan that started with two weeks of complete rest. No swimming. No biking. No running. On my BT blog, an off day is shown by a yellow square. Two weeks worth of yellow squares!

The endorphin withdrawal was awful for a few days…I was bouncing off the walls. That seemed to settle down during the second week. I could almost get used to the life of a couch potato. Except….it has also been very difficult to control my desire to eat. You see, I like food – yet I have the metabolism of a middle aged woman. GASP!

So today is the final day of the two week rest, and I am planning a nice bike ride tomorrow.

In honor of the final yellow square, I have some youtube videos for your viewing pleasure. The athletes depicted in this films are exhibiting what I consider to be a great skill. Something I need to work on before B2B. Enjoy!
