Why did you wait instead of going fast forward? I love p90x. I've doing it for two years. I just wished it had more focus on the legs. Women need more leg workout. Just my opinion.

You should take pictures of before and after. Keep us posted!

I had to do push ups on my knees too for most of it when I started but you quickly move on from there. Pull ups, now thats a different story, I never looked like those women on the DVD doing many pull ups with little effort...not me I guess, I had to modify mine. Keep us updated, I may just pull mine out and start using it again!!!

Love your writing style. Don't worry about doing push ups on your knees, you will build up strength fast. Also, I would use a chair and the pull up bar vs using the resistance bands. Just my opinion.

Sounds like your off to a great start! You've already leaned an important lesson I still struggle with, "Modify so it's right for you". There are times I try to keep up with them and get burned out before the workouts over. It's a learning process.... And doing them from your knees is not wussy at all, it's just a way to start with lighter weight. You didn't use 50lbs dumbbells for "Heavy Pants" on your first day, right? Same thing. You'll be surprised how quickly your doing a lot from your knees then switching to doing them from your toes. Just keep at it.

Have you looked into a door mounted chin up bar? Either the Beachbody one or the Iron Gym Xtreme (less expensive) work well.

Keeping track of your reps and weight does help, if you don't have the sheets to do that email me and I can send you the .pdf file.

Are you a Beachbody coach? I didn't see a mention of it in your blog. You can read my post about it at http://www.buildanewyou.com/coach or email/call do discuss it if you think you might be interested.

Keep pushing play!

Good to know about the pull up bar. Mine can only be set up in the garage, so I'll have to figure out how to do the DVD out there.

It does sound like a great DVD so far!
