Project Virgle: Can I bring my bike to Mars?

Hey, I just read on Google about their new project called “Virgle”. They are planning to send a human colony to mars in the year 2014. You can apply to become a Pioneer. Go ahead, fill out the application. You know you want to.

Do you think they’d let me bring my bicycle? Cuz, otherwise, there’s no way I’d volunteer for this grand adventure.

PS: This is Google’s April Fools joke 🙂

  • Thats probably not too far away. I saw on TV the other day, that tents for the moon are being trialled.

    What you would need on mars is a covered velodrome with a glass open top roof to see the rest of the planets. That would be REALLY cool...
