Team Trakkers is accepting applications [Word DOC] for its 2010 team. This was my first year with Trakkers, and it has been a fantastic experience being part of a triathlon team. Lots of great folks, great fun, and great schwag! And being part of a team helped motivate me to continue to push beyond my comfort zone toward ever greater improvement. I was planning to take this year easy and completely slack off. But now I am doing an Ironman race. In just 57 days!!
Background Information: Trakkers is developing a GPS tracking device which will enable family and friends to track an athlete in “real time” during a race. Trakkers is affiliated with Rev 3 Tri , the new race company that produced the hillacious Half Iron race I did in June. Rev3 is planning two additional race weekends next season – including a full iron distance race in September at Cedar Point.
They are not just looking for top athletes, but also for everyday age-groupers who love triathlon. The 2010 team membership includes attending a training camp in Arizona! I’m super excited about that!

Hey, I've been thinking about joining a tri team lately, and I was just thinking about all you awesome Trakkers people on my twitter. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions about it? Their website doesn't seem to have any info. At least not that I could find....
Anyway, how much is a membership and what does that include? Tell me more about this training camp in Arizona. It also seems like I saw somewhere that you have to do one of the Rev3 races if you join. I'd love to do one, but I'm so far away, I don't know if I'm ready to commit to that. There's a local team here that I'm looking at too so I just want to make sure I can make a good decision. If you know of a link that has all this info, that would be great, or if you could send me an email, that would be awesome! Thanks!
