Great news! I made it into Team Trakkers 2009! Out of 500+ applicants, they picked me! I am truly honored to be part of this exciting racing team. Thank you, Team Trakkers! A big reason they picked me was that they liked my blog. So, thank you, blog readers, for all your support and encouragement over the past few years.
As part of Team Trakkers, I will be competing at a brand new Half Iron race in Connecticut on June 7, 2009: Rev3Tri. Lots of big name pro triathletes are slated to compete at this race – including Cait Snow! She became my running hero when she took the lead at Lake Placid with her superb running style! I hope I get the chance to meet her!
