Tonight I have been doing anything to avoid my workout. I don’t know where my motivation is. It’s already 9pm, I’ve eaten too much today, and I am avoiding my 1:30 climbing simulation bike workout. Case in point: I have written two blog articles today! If I write another one, can someone please slap me upside the head?
A few weeks ago, I ran across a funny word on the Urban Dictionary: Social Notworking. It is defined as using social networking sites to avoid work. Haha, I am using twitter and facebook and blogs to avoid my workout right now, so that’s how the title of this blog came to be.
My mentor once told me that if you don’t feel like doing a workout, just start, and do the ten minute warmup. If you still don’t feel like doing the workout, then it’s okay to quit. Most of the time, just getting started is the hard part, and you’ll want to keep going.
