I’ve been having Physical Therapy for my rotator cuff tendonitis. Here’s a site that shows the type of exercises that the PT gave me:

Using resistance bands (thera bands)…

Here they are using dumbells (be sure to start with very low weight, like 1 pound)…

If these exercises hurt, back off on the weight or the repititions. Ice the shoulder(s) for 20 minutes after doing them.

Also, here’s a stretch the PT gave me (the first one, with both arms clasped behind your back…I haven’t tried the broomstick one!)…
